Join us on a tour to get a taste of the good stuff we've got distilled! We'll walk you through how we go from organic, local grain to full flavored, award winning whiskey, gin and rum. By the end you'll be steeped in Whiskey knowledge and Western Pennsylvania Whiskey Rebellion lore.
The tour includes a cocktail to start, a hands on tour of our distillation process, a history of the Whiskey Rebellion told through the eyes of Philip Wigle, and a seated tasting. The total length of the tour is 1 hour and is limited in size to ensure a fun experience for everyone.
We also offer tours of our Northside Barrelhouse on Saturdays from May through mid-October. Join us at the Barrelhouse next spring to dive into the Prohibition era history of Pennsylvania Whiskey and the effects of barrels on whiskey. You can register for those here: http://www.wiglewhiskey.com/garden-tour-tickets
Our public tours fill up fast! But if you can get a group of at least twelve folks together, we'll set up a tour just for you! Email firstname.lastname@example.org to set one up. We can accommodate up to 24 guests on a private tour and require a deposit in advance. Private tours during the week cost $25/person. Private tours on a Friday cost $60/person, which includes your choice of a bottle of White Whiskey, Ginever, Landlocked or Landlocked Spiced. In either case, a deposit of $300 is required to hold the time. Private tours last one hour and no outside food is permitted.
***Ticket exchange/Reschedule policy**** We understand that stuff comes up. If you need to reschedule for a different tour date, please let us know 72 hours in advance of your tour to allow for others to grab your spots. We can not accommodate requests made to exchange tickets received later than the 72 hour window. Please email email@example.com to reschedule tours.
Special note to bachelor parties We are sure you and your buddies are the utmost, awesome gentlemen. And we'd love to meet you when you're not in bachelor party mode. We do not serve alcohol or give tours to folks who arrive at the distillery intoxicated.
Special note on those under 21 years of age We prefer if people on the tour are 21 and over. For safety reasons, we can't allow anyone under the age of 12 on the tour.
Some additional info: For those touring during the summertime, our tasting room is air conditioned, but the production area, which you will tour, is not. If it's a warm day outside, wear cool comfortable clothes and expect to sweat!
